Myths Told in Light and Shade

Monumental murals, wheat-paste legends, and portraits the size of buildings — myth for the modern street.

About the Exhibition

Gods and Giants, at Street Scale

Thirty large-scale works bring the energy of the street into the gallery: towering portraits, retold myths, and faces that follow you across the room. Several pieces were painted live on our walls, and the artists' scaffolds, sketches, and spray cans remain part of the show.

Expect colour at full volume — and a live-painting weekend every month while the show runs.

Exhibition Highlights

Come Face to Face

01

The Twelve-Foot Gaze

A portrait wall of towering faces in spray, acrylic, and gold leaf — the room everyone photographs, and nobody forgets.

02

Painted Live

One wall stays unfinished. Watch resident artists complete it across the season, one live-painting weekend at a time.

03

Myths Retold

Ancient stories of transformation and defiance, rewritten by six artists in the visual language of today's streets.

"Bold, loud, and completely alive. My teenagers put their phones away without being asked — that never happens."
